It appears that the BP Service Station on the corner of Melrose Drive and Botany Street in Phillip was evacuated this morning.
A bit before 8 am, one fire truck was in attendance, while everyone who appeared to be a civilian stood around the very edge of the property; I also couldn’t see any cars in the station itself.
Unfortunately I didn’t have time to stop and find out what was going on, or take pictures. Perhaps someone else has more of the story?
