Did anyone hear of an explosion around Gungahlin around 8.20pm last night?

Sounded loud and deep.

no hotels in Gungahlin

Actually, there is a hotel in Nicholls (Gold Creek Resort) and a new one about to open in Gungahlin (Abode).

Part of a motel in Qbn burnt down…

😀

I heard it in Palmerston.

It was very loud. It sounded like a very large firework going off.

I waited for the sirens…but heard nothing more.

Yeah I heard it too – I couldn’t work out if it was an explosion or a heavy bin lid dropping.

We are probably neighbours.

The houses in Gungahlin are so close together one of the neighbours probably popped a champagne cork.
