Chief Minister Stanhope is advising us that he’s putting on a Father’s Day party in Weston Park and you’re invited:

“I encourage families to come along to this year’s Father’s Day in the Park which will be held on Sunday 5 September between 11am and 3pm,” Mr Stanhope said.

“This free event will be packed full of entertaining activities to suit all the family for a relaxing and enjoyable day at one of Canberra’s most beautiful parks.

“Entertainment for the day includes live music featuring hits from the last four decades, dance performances from around the world, mini golf, climbing walls and a jumping castle.

“A great selection of food will be available for purchase, families are encouraged to bring along a picnic rug and chairs,” Mr Stanhope said.

You’re already paying for it so you might as well enjoy it!
