ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious fire which occurred in Hume today (Sunday, 28 July).
At about 3.25pm this afternoon, police were called to an incident at the Alexander Maconochie Centre.
ACT Fire and Rescue were already on the scene and quickly contained the blaze within one cell.
Several staff members and another male were treated for smoke inhalation and two other people were relocated within the building.
Investigations will continue to determine the cause of the fire.
