The ACT Fire Brigade is on scene of an apartment fire in Lyneham this morning.
Four fire crews and district officer have responded to the incident on Deburgh Street.
First crew on scene confirmed the building was well alight.

A search of the premises has confirmed there was no one inside.
The second floor of the building has been destroyed. The initial damage bill has been estimated at around $100,000.
The cause of the fire will be investigated.

Firefighters have extinguished the fire with the second story of the unit extensively damaged.
Fire crews are now conducting a search of the building and checking for any remaining hot spots.
