A 23-year-old man has died in hospital from injuries sustained in a single vehicle collision on Tidbinbilla Road, Tharwa which took place on Saturday (April 28) afternoon.
While riding with a friend, Mr Stewart Orme, from Kaleen, lost control of his motorcycle in the incident. He died around 7.55pm last night (Sunday, April 29).
This is the first death to be recorded on ACT roads in more than 12 months.
The fatal collision is being investigated by ACT Policing’s Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team.
