The Foreshore 2012 Music Festival wrapped up late last night (Saturday, November 24), with police acknowledging most attendees behaviour as responsible.
Six people were taken to the ACT Watchhouse and placed in protective custody. Police seized drugs from two patrons and a number of people were ejected from the event.
This year’s event was held in Commonwealth Park. ACT Policing patrols enforced the event’s alcohol free zone surrounding Stage 88, Commonwealth Park and nearby car parks.
“As always with these events, our first priority is community safety,” said Foreshore Operational Commander, Sergeant Harry Hains.
“It was good to see that the majority of attendees were responsible and were able to enjoy the event safely”.
