ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to burglary and extensive property damage to a house in Darcy Close, Gordon yesterday (March 31).
Between 8am and 2pm entry was forced to the house and extensive water damage was caused by a garden hose flooding the living room. The intruders also damaged other property in the house. Damage is estimated to exceed $50,000.
ACT Policing is investigating reports of a blue and grey or dark coloured dual-cab ute that was seen in the street at the time of the incident.
Any witnesses who were around Darcy Close at the time of the offence and may have seen the vehicle matching the description provided or persons acting suspiciously in the area, are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
