ACT Policing has charged a 26-year-old man after he assaulted two people in Narrabundah yesterday afternoon.
Around 5:45pm, police attended Gowrie Court, McIntyre Street after receiving reports that a person had been assaulted.
Police attended the location and found two people, a 38-year-old man and 30-year-old woman, both from Narrabundah with assault-related injuries. Both were conveyed to hospital.
Police conducted a search of the area and located the 26-year-old man at a nearby bus stop. Police were able to identify the man after detailed information was provided by witnesses.
The man was arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House and charged with Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning.
