Greens have a great deal more to say in reply to the budget

The ACT Government had 12 media releases to accompany this year’s budget.

The Greens have this afternoon rather trumped that with an omnibus monster mash of 19 statements.

Subjects covered include:

    1. Deficit spending misses opportunity to invest in Canberra’s future
    2. ACT first to respond to tax reform advice
    3. Greens priority for mental health funding successful
    4. Budget a missed opportunity on climate & environment
    5. Care and Protection Services – reform needed with new funding

    10. Greens support business programs and planning initiatives
    11. Community legal centres treading water for now
    12. Energy efficiency gains will keep on giving
    13. Addressing both Childcare quality and demand requires Government investment
    14. Government scrimps on housing investment
    15. Small investments and more sustainable schools
    16. Sustainable transport progressing, but still in the slow lane
