Yep. kudos to the Greens, for at least starting the dialogue and putting these things out as policies. For many people, these are pivotal issues. Cruel farming, cruel practices around the pet industry… I’d argue that money spent here is a better, more moral use of money than giving tax revenue to people to buy their kids expensive toys. Someone’s got to make a start on banning hen batteries and sow stalls. Why not the ACT?

Damn right. It could (and may well) go 8 Libs 6 Labor 3 Greens, and the Greens would still form an alliance with Labor.

*shrugs* There’s only been one outright win by a party in the ACT (Labor 2004 I think?) and Hare-Clark all but guarantees that them nasty Jesus-hugging Libs will never run the joint again.
