ACT Policing took three men into custody for breaches of the peace after a disturbance in residential Gungahlin in the early hours of this morning (Sunday, November 24).
After reports of a disturbance were received at an address in Gungahlin where a large group of people were gathering in the street outside, police attended to find around 50 people in various states of intoxication and acting aggressively.
Most of the group quickly dispersed on police arrival but move on directions then were issued due to the aggression and threats of violence by some remaining.
Three males – two aged 17 and another 18 – failed to comply and were taken into custody by police for breaches of the peace. They were later released on undertakings of recognisance.
