Police have arrested a 17-year-old teenager in relation to an alleged assault of a 20-year-old man in Gungahlin last week.
Around 9.00pm last Friday (August 31), police attended Hibberson Street in Gungahlin after receiving reports of an assault.
The 20-year-old man was taken to the Canberra Hospital where he was treated for injuries resulting from the assault.
Police arrested the teenager earlier today and he was taken to the ACT Watch House.
He was charged with serious assault and was released on Watch House bail. He will face the ACT Children’s Court at a later date.
