A 16-year-old male and 17-year-old male were taken into custody after an incident involving a BB gun in Garema Place, Civic, yesterday afternoon (April 6).
About 5.10pm ACT Policing received information regarding two males firing a BB hand gun at members of the public from a roof top in Garema Place in the City.
Police attended Garema Place where they closed off the building the two males were believed to be on. Police approached the males where they were apprehended without incident. The two males were taken to the City Police Station.
Police spoke to a member of the public who claimed they had been struck by a pellet. They did not require medial attention as a result of the incident.
The two juvenile males were released into the custody of their parents and will be summonsed to appear at the ACT Childrens Court at a later date.
