Unfortunately for me Genie all the neighbour’s bins are overflowing as well. One neighbour has a plan though – wait for the truck to come, fill up bin again and put it back on other side of street for the next run! Will only work if his side is done first though but a cunning plan nonetheless!

Aronde… I too was hoping my bins would be emptied before Xmas.. but not I have to wait until tomorrow… Having held Xmas at my house, the bins are chock full and overflowing.. I think I may have to ask my friendly neighbour to borrow the empty space in their bins !

I had this really great plan that the bin truck would come Christmas morning then I could fill it up again with all the present waste (boxes, wrapping etc)! Will just have to try to squish it all in now til Saturday and I have a feeling it will not fit. The packaging on some kids toys is quite incredible (and wasteful!) But if anyone deserves Christmas off it is the garbage men – Merry Christmas!
