A 22-year-old man will face court in July after being caught allegedly doing burnouts in Hume.

ACT Policing said officers had received multiple calls about a group of vehicles that had gathered to allegedly do burnouts and street racing on Saturday night (18 June).

About 60 vehicles were discovered in Hume and police said they witnessed a red Holden Commodore being “driven in a dangerous manner” on Tralee Street.

Crush the car

About time. There are a number of cars, including this one that have been doing burnouts and racing around Eucumbene Drive, and surrounding neighbourhoods for years. Guaranteed *every time it rains. Have reported them for the last 3 years. This car was out last weekend again driving recklessly at high speed around our suburb and in our street until 2am, despite reporting it hours earlier. Have given the police detailed descriptions (make, model, location, plates) and once got told, yeah call back when you have some details.

Nice result. Crushing next. One car at a time.

Some media outlets would have you believe this kind of crap only happens during Summernats.
Goes to show that these morons live here, and its not always the “bogan Revheads” that come in for the Nats.
