I borrowed a tripod on Friday night and went down to capture the bright lights of the construction work on Section 84. Enjoy.

Well it is big. That’s about all you can say about it so far.
After a visit to the Canberra Centre yesterday, I’m left wondering whether these new buildings will have decent parking, stairs and lifts.
The Canberra Centre is very opulent in the shopping section, but to get there you have to trek down tiny narrow steel stairs, not wide enough for a person with a bag of shopping to pass another person. Let alone someone holding a toddler’s hand, or using a cane.
And the person with the cane is on the stairs because the two mingy lifts are slow as anything – eg you can wait literally 10 minutes, and then find when it iarrives it is full. It makes the centre seem cheap, even though once inside it is nice.
