A double garage in Isabella Plains has been completely destroyed by fire tonight.
ACT Fire & Rescue was alerted to the incident by multiple emergency triple zero (000) calls from 7:39pm.
Firefighters immediately responded with three fire pumpers and arrived to find the detached structure well alight.
Crews managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the adjoining house and other nearby properties before putting it out.
The garage and contents have been completely destroyed. There were no vehicles inside the building.
The cause is not known at this time but will be investigated.

ACT Fire & Rescue has determined the cause of the fire as non suspicious.
The initial damage bill for the Hadleigh Circuit structure is $80,000.
