Parliament House is worried about their precious grass and so has put a notice to keep off the grass.
Maybe they should just fence off the rest of the area.
See below for the circular on the frosty fields

Thumper: Now that’s a solution that just plain works!!
Samuel
simple expensive solution, build another Telstra Dome on Parliament House…Watch polly footy in the early morning, watch polly yelling competition during the rest of the morning, have lunch, watch proper footy match, return to the conclusion of the day’s yelling match, have dinner, go home.
Sounds good to me!

this could lead to some brutal politics. the oval sees most of it’s use for early morning touch games by the pollies (with other occupants invited).
They don’t have time in their days to play once work starts and I can’t imagine they’re going to appreciate being told that the “turf grass plant” is too fragile to play on in a frost.
Get some normal grass which seems to manage on most ovals throughout the territory.
I have a relative who would love to see evidence of the good work of ‘Penfold’ QC.
Not a lot going on at DOPS at the moment…next they’ll hold a committee meeting to eradicate the rabbits who are blissfully unaware of the regime!

I went to do that picnic thing with the fam on the weekend. That wee glade is indeed the best picnic spot, the walk around the grounds is fantastic and so peaceful (the loading docks threw us off a bit though and we couldn’t seem to find the pool room.
I thouroughly recommend it to anyone. Seems anyone can just walk up and start using the tennis courts as well.
