Locating a builder who doesn't want to be found

I am interested in contacting people who have been duded by these so called tradespeople. We are using ACAT to get justice but the bloke keeps ducking and weaving. The builder owes the customer money? Isn’t the customer supposed to pay the builder, usually for the work he has actually done?

You could always wander into the Electoral Office in Civic and see what address he is listed on in the Electoral Roll. They have two computer terminals there for the public to use to search the Electoral Roll.

Buy yourself an ASIC company search. There are various online providers. Espreon is a good one and it’s about $18 per search. That will give you his address.
