Did anyone hear a loud explosion around 2am on Sunday morning around Rivett and Chapman?
Wondering what it was as it definitely didn’t sound like your typical firework.

I don’t know but there was a loud bang outside the Hughes shops last night :-p
I’m assume from the lack of Media on this incident it was a minor event
ie no significant damage, but it sure sounded loud at the time.
Now you mention it, I remember waking up at about that time, kinda wondering whether I had just heard an explosion in the distance, or if I’d dreamt it. As I was going back to sleep, I was listening for sirens, because I was sure something significant had happened.
Only thing is, I’m in Macgregor…so if I actually heard what you heard, it must have been pretty damn big.
I heard it too, but have no idea what it was. From Weston it sounded loud enough; it must have been massive in Chapman.
Sorry, my fault, I had beans that night and well you know the rest.
