A 33-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over his alleged involvement in four shootings earlier this year.

An ACT Policing spokesperson said the shootings were carried out across Canberra between 25 March and 29 March 2025.

The alleged shootings occurred in Greenway, Downer and Watson and resulted in two men being injured, including one who was shot in the stomach, and a pet dog being killed.

Police also say that following an examination of the Watson scene, they believe the property had been shot at in the days before the man was shot.

Following these incidents, which the police previously described as targeted, officers from ACT Policing’s Major Crime Team began an investigation.

Police allege a group of three men were responsible for the four incidents.

In April, the 33-year-old man was arrested over unrelated matters. He has been remanded in custody since his arrest.

“As a result of evidence collected and forensic examination, police have charged the man with an additional nine offences,” the spokesperson said.

He is scheduled to face the ACT Magistrates Court today (11 December 2025) to face charges of attempted murder, three counts of committing an act endangering life, discharging a firearm at a building and other offences.

Enquiries into the identities of alleged co-offenders are ongoing, and anyone with any information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers by visiting the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference number 8008707. Information can be provided anonymously.
