Members from ACT Policing’s Drug Investigation Team executed search warrants in Canberra’s north yesterday afternoon (Thursday, March 23) where a number of items were seized.
Just after midday police executed the first warrant on a vehicle in Lyneham. During the warrant police seized a quantity of an illicit substance suspected to be methylamphetamine.
Other warrants were executed on addresses in Braddon and O’Connor where police seized items including suspected stolen property and a sum of cash. Other items were also seized during the search.
A 47-year-old O’Connor man was arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House. He will appear in court this morning where police will be opposing bail.
