Wow, I wish I had some liquid cash to sink into this investment property.
Sensational returns!!

There are plenty of places in Canberra that are apparently ‘in great areas’ that are still crapholes. If people want to live there and pay extortionate rent, that’s their business.

Just last week had to call an ambulance after he opened the door to go to work and found an elderly lady passed out on his doorstep. Luck she was only drunk and the night wasn’t too cold.
Yes, I must apologise for that. I got a bit carried away, and then I got lost. So I thought, “Why not? This looks like a comfy doorstep in a classy neighbourhood.”
; )
Oh dear! so people will pay a fortune to live in “exclusive Campbell” and feeling all special and exclusive, they find they have drunken elderly neighbours!
A mate of mine lives in another ground floor unit in this same block. It is only just larger than a dog-box. he reports his neighbours are also a superb bunch of humanity. The only true statement in the above advert that I can see is that, yes… it is in superb location. Other than that, steer well clear people.

Real estate agents and property managers are two separate occupations you know
Within the industry people might think this, but to 99.9% of other people, anyone who deals in residential property (rent or sell) is a real estate agent.
Well aren’t they silly billy’s.

I am sure that the owners will be raising the asking price now they know what they can rent it for.
Most novice chefs are pretty happy with a microwave, a toaster and a plug-in jug, so the kitchen is most likely the bathroom bench by the sounds of it. OTOH, buying the unit would be worth it to get a parking spot near the goddam shops, as it’s impossible otherwise.

Not for too much longer, my friend.

Doing something right or earning big dollars ? They can be mutually exclusive you know 🙂

Come on, we all know Real Estate agents are not the cleverest people in the world
I agree – this is like picking on a kid from the special ed class.

Morgan, this one looks far more like a private rental as an agency would be more inclined to put a landline office number staffed by a receptionist if the particular property manager isnt there.

It does say rental potential… if you found someone that has been indulging in the jacuzzi full of cocaine they might agree to pay that kind of rent.

Then there is the question of furnishings, what furnishings justify an extra $2.1mil a year???
It has a jacuzzi, that’s full of cocaine.
And bikini models.

Very tidy investment indeed!
Further evidence of the ACT rental crisis. One can only imagine what the rent for a three-bedroom apartment with a two-car garage would be.

A quick, back-of-the envelope calculation tells me that the yield on that place would be in the order of 5400%. Sensational!
He he. Personally, I am thinking of investing in this place: http://www.allhomes.com.au/ah/ah0073?slid=167276296, because “the kitchen will please even the most novice chef”. Quick, someone tell this guy what the word “novice” actually means.
