I like the comment “this is madness”. As a long-term, white-water kayaker myself and having done these stretches of river in full floods many times, this would have been a simple excursion for a kayaker who can eskimo roll as well as this guy. The only minor difficulty are pressure waves (and keeping away from trees) as there is little or nothing in the way of “drops” on these stretches of the river. Nothing mad here unless you are kayaking alone.
