A 53-year-old Narrabundah man has died in hospital following a two vehicle collision in Narrabundah this evening (Tuesday, June 5).
Early investigations indicate around 6.55pm, a white Toyota Corolla was turning right from Captain Cook Crescent onto Jerrabomberra Avenue when it collided with a red Toyota Camry which was travelling northbound along Jerrabomberra Avenue.
Both drivers were taken to The Canberra Hospital, where the male driver of the Toyota Corolla died. The female driver of the Toyota Camry was treated for minor injuries.
This is the fourth person to have died on ACT roads this year.
ACT Policing’s Collision, Investigation and Reconstruction Team are investigating the cause of the collision and will prepare a report for the ACT Coroner.
