The Collingwood supporter was probably in a state of bliss listening to so much swearing.
Thanks to atrocious audio, sitting on London Circuit I could barely make out the lyrics, let alone understand what was being said most of the time. Sitting next to the fountain for Tuchasoul made little difference, and the biggest improvement came from inserting earplugs to attenuate distortion.

Tim Rogers foul mouth language was a disgrace
Having You am I at a family event wasn’t exactly screaming “family friendly”… he always has a potty mouth.
Apart from apathy about the whole NYE this year (I was in bed by 10:30!) , they would have been a reason to go. Anyone who isn’t offended by a few f bombs want to give a review of the actual gig?
The language was nothing kids haven’t heard before. Anyone complaining (unless Queen Elizabeth spent the new year in Canberra and is now venting on riotact) is probably a hypocrite. I thought the gig was great – lots of energy, and they played most of their old stuff along with a few well-chosen covers.
They weren’t really family friendly in the banter, and it was a tad loud (for the kids site their healthy hearing), but they were pretty rock and roll, and were a bold choice. But I’m a fan… They weren’t as impressive for people who like mellowed stuff. At least we didn’t have something as terrible as the ABC coverage of Sydney’s NYE…
