ACT Policing is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying two men who forced their way into a home in Ngunnawal last night (Tuesday, February 21).
About 10 pm the residents were woken by loud banging at the front door. One of the residents approached the front door and saw two men wearing dark clothing with black scarves wrapped around their heads and carrying firearms.
The two men forced their way through the locked front door, pointing their guns at the male resident and demanding money.
The offenders left a short time later with a small amount of cash, three wallets and a laptop computer.
Anyone who may have been in the area of Ngunnawal about 10 pm last night and saw suspicious activity, or who may be able to assist police with the investigation is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
