Katy Gallagher has a new report and has made new recommendations.
KG told the Assembly there had been a total of 5 deaths involving children who had contact with welfare/child protection authorities. Rumour has it that is a gross underestimate and that public servants are protecting the Minister. The figure is said to be at least double the number the Minister quoted. No doubt the public servants in KG’s department will redefine the statistics to keep the numbers low.

Readign the report : ” “It is alarming that similar recommendations are being raised again, 212 years later,” she said.”
