Obstetric Diagnostic Ultrasound in Canberra?

Hello all

Does anyone know of any diagnostic ultrasound centres that charge as closely to the schedule fee as possible?

Thank you all for your input. Have booked into Phillip who still charge well above the schedule fee, but less than Canberra Imaging

Or on South IDE. Phillip Medical Centre also used to bulk bill obstetric ultrasound and would even record snippets on DVD if you bring a blank disc. Best to check prices and recording policy when you call as it may have changed.

Give the Ginninderra Medical Centre a call. They bulk bill ultrasounds and x-rays if you have a referral.

Sorry that your baby is sick.

When there was concern that my baby might be failing to thrive I was referred for an ultrasound by my midwife and the imaging centre at John James in Deakin was able to fit me in quickly. I’m pretty sure there was no charge, they just get your medicare card and off you go.

Having a baby is cheap. Caring for it once it’s born, on the other hand…
