Glass on road

One woman was taken to The Canberra Hospital after a car rolled as a result of a two-car collision on Sturt Avenue in Griffith yesterday afternoon.

Both southbound lanes of Sturt Avenue were closed for some time as police investigated the accident near the intersection of McMillan Crescent. Shattered glass covered the lane for several metres.

Scene of accident

ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Ambulance Service attended the scene after being alerted to the accident just after 4.11pm.

Intensive care paramedics assessed one male and one female on scene and transported the woman to The Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
