Back on 8 February there was some mirth at the concept of Andrew Barr’s ACT schools cyber safety summit.
Readers will be thrilled to see these photos tweeted this afternoon by Mr Barr from the summit.
Behold the “student declaration banner”, marvel at the “students delivering their commitments”.

Minister Barr has also put out a media release celebrating the event:
At the end of the summit students made a declaration about what it takes to lead responsibly in a digital world.
Students attending the summit were recognised by their schools as young leaders and will now share what they learnt about cyber safety at the summit with their school communities.
For many students this may mean continuing the conversation with peer groups at their school, holding a parent information night on cyber safety, working with members of their community in developing their skills online, or organising their own student forum on cyber safety.
I bet the parents can hardly wait.
