Foxsports has the news on a bad night at the office by the Canberra Raiders getting flogged at home by the Brisbane Broncos.
A glitch? Or a sign that they’re not really premiership material in 2011?

Having been present for their last few Canberra pastings, I decided to stay home and clearly thereby removed the jinx from my team.
I expect the thank you from the Broncos in the mail…
it was obvious that mcrone had to take a back step for orford and it didnt work. why.. cause orford doesnt need a 5/8 next to him as he likes to always have the ball. who was his 5/8 at manly… jamie lyon… lol he is no 5/8 and used to only be picked in that position by name. waddell was useless of the bench and we lacked intesity in the forwards.. good lesson learned to keep the team on the ground. still long way to go so still backing them to make the 8
As a fan I can’t defend their performance on Friday. Brisbane were simply too hungry in defence and overpowered our forwards. Couple that with Orford being a bit rusty and McCrone being a turnstyle in defence and you have a recipe for failure.
The ominous sign was Vidot dropping the ball from the kickoff.
