Phillip bad girl can't outrun the law in her Lancer

ACT Policing will charge a 21-year-old Phillip woman with drink-driving, driving with licence suspended, furious/reckless driving and failing to stop when requested by police after a pursuit in Weston early this morning.

Police on patrol in Streeton Drive around 4.20am today (Friday, July 13) attempted a traffic stop on a white Mitsubishi Lancer sedan for the purposes of conducting a roadside screening test on the driver.

The driver failed to stop and a pursuit commenced through Phillip and Mawson. The driver finally stopped in Wilkins St, Mawson, where she refused a roadside screening test and was conveyed to Woden Police Station. She later returned a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of 0.122.

The pursuit had lasted four and a half minutes, with alleged offender reaching a highest speed of 140km/h.

The woman was conveyed to the ACT Watch House. She is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court later this morning.

One would hope that the bogan financial reserves aren’t up to replacing it multiple times…

Crushing it is a waste of resources. Give it to an immigrant.

A Lancer is the female equivalent of a Commodore. they are usually adorned with “bad girl” stickers, playboy seat covers and bumper stickers that make reference to the owner as a bitch of some description

I sometimes wonder if they’re plugged into some kind of mothership. Females in Lancers and Excels who carefully plaster their cars with the above crap, including the sticker alerting all and sundry that the owner is an unpleasant person, the uniform is an unflatteringly fake-looking hairstyle and enormous sunglasses (are they some kind of fly?), and if they do something wrong on the road, their middle finger goes up. Their preferred place on the road is up the arse of other cars (maybe they’re lonely). Have they been assimilated, are they being programmed by some alien force?
