Playground at Eddison Park

Does anyone know what’s going on with the playground at Eddison Park? There is little playground which is great for young children (toddlers) at the skate-park end of the park. I went a few times through the winter and parts of it seemed to be roped off (it looked like the soft flooring was disintegrating) and when I tried to go during the week it was completely fenced off. It seems a shame to have it so constantly out of order.

Looks like the playground is going the same way as the sadly missed fitness circuit and its fantastic chin-up bars.

I train in that park every week and it has been out of action since early in the year, maybe February. I can’t remember exactly but it was the week we had those 40 degree days.

The rubber got pulled up and i just assumed they were going to fix it. Then months past…still closed.

It is just another example of the government shafting us south-siders on amenities and them hoping we don’t notice.
