Police are seeking witnesses or dash-cam footage of a hit-and-run on 7 May in the Belconnen region.
An ACT Policing spokesperson said that at about 9 pm that night, a black Honda CBR motorcycle and a silver Holden Commodore VE sedan collided at the intersection of Tillyard Drive and Kerrigan Street in Fraser.
Police said the driver of the Commodore failed to stop and exchange details with the 19-year-old male motorcyclist.
The rider was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The Commodore was later found abandoned in Charnwood and seized for forensic examination.
“Police are seeking witnesses or dash-cam footage of the silver Holden Commodore VE that may have had ACT registration YHL 33G,” the police spokesperson said.
Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash-cam footage from the area on that night, to contact Crime Stoppers ACT. Quote reference number 80473007.
