ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a ram raid at the JB Hi Fi store in the DFO complex, Fyshwick, this morning (Saturday, 27 November).
About 5am, police responded to an alarm at JB Hi Fi at Canberra Avenue, Fyshwick. Upon arrival police found the roller door to the loading dock severely damaged.
CCTV footage shows a woman and a man arrive at the store driving what appeared to be a late model Toyota Hilux, or similar model car. The pair repeatedly reversed their car into the roller door to the loading dock. The offenders took a number of items before leaving in the vehicle.
The woman is described as having dark skin and dark hair with a slim build and 168cm (5’6”) tall. She was wearing a white top and dark pants.
The man is described as having dark skin and dark facial hair with a medium build and 183cm (6’) tall and was wearing a baseball cap.
Anyone who may have seen a car similar to a late model Toyota Hilux in the vicinity of the DFO at the time of the incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
