What we do know is that the thieves knew exactly what they wanted and where to get it – you don’t randomly break into trailers and then happen to have a suitable vehicle handy to contain 40 $7,000 w4nkercycles.

Lance Armstrong won lots of big popular races like the Tour De France on Trek bikes for a good number of years. They are out there and have been for a while.

They stole 40 bikes and nobody saw them? Also I agree with the post about this providing free publicity. Before this story I’d never heard of Trek bikes. Now I know all about them and will make a beeline towards them when looking to buy a bike.

That trailer has been in that location for well over a year. It never crossed my mind they would actually leave stuff in it. I get nervous enough leaving stuff in secure warehouses behind secure fences in Fyshwick.
