b) No, this one isn’t his fault. Working in Act Admin 20 years ago the situation was as bad, possibly worse. That’s a bit harsh! If there was something that should have been “fixed” then it was the responsibility of each and every Chief Minister, both Labor and Liberal. Jon was not the first nor the last in this line, so why pick him out rather than Rosemary, Kate, Katie,Gary etc. He was the longest serving, but even his tenure is less than half of the period of self government.

There are many a driver who get upset when you use the outside lane while they are making their inside right turn, as though they should be the only ones on the roundabout and if you are there too you must be trying to crash into them.

Yes will forgive whilst they get used to it, but don’t reckon many will get used to it. As for the situation you described above, previoulsy if the car was turning right from the centre then a car in the left hand lane city bound had to stop because the turning car would have been in the outside lane of the roundabout. What was annoying were cars stopping in the left lane when the car was turning from the right hand which feed to the centre lane of the roundabout. (or is that what you were meaning)

Yeah, that is what I meant. Giving way unnecessarily to people in the right hand turning lane. Got my lanes mixed up.

What was the line-marker operator suppose to do? How about a bunch of people pick crap out of your work even though they obviously have no idea what they are talking about. It is an amusing picture for sure but that is it. I remember when I was in school many years ago the Canberra Times had a photo of a dead magpie in the middle of the road with the lines painted straight over it, now that was lazy.
