ACT Policing is appealing for witnesses to a collision in Richardson early this morning, (Sunday, 8 April).
About 2 am a large white van or truck was seen driving away from a house on Chauncey Crescent, Richardson after it had reversed and crashed into the bedroom window.
The residence sustained structural damage to the front wall and roof guttering. The bedroom window was smashed and the window frame pushed in.
ACT Fire and Rescue attended the scene and assessed the structure for safety.
At the time of the incident the resident was asleep in the bedroom which sustained the damage, however he was not injured.
