Two people were injured last night (Wednesday, March 23) after a large rock was thrown at an ACTION bus in Richardson.
Around 11pm, the bus was travelling along Clift Crescent when the rock was thrown through one of the side windows.
Two passengers on the bus were taken to The Canberra Hospital with minor injuries.
A witness told police he saw four males aged between 15 to 17 laughing and giving “high-fives” to each other as they were running away from the scene.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or may have seen any suspicious behaviour in the Richardson area last night to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
