ACT Policing is investigating a single vehicle collision last night (Friday, January 21) in Palmerston in which a motorcyclist suffered serious head injuries.
Around 8pm the motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man from Ashtonfield in the NSW Hunter Valley, was riding on Kosziuscko Ave in Palmerston when he lost control of his machine and came off. Investigations are ongoing however, speed may have been a contributing factor.
He was conveyed to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
ACT Policing’s Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team (CIRT) are seeking any witnesses who may have seen the man riding the blue Yamaha trail bike in the area at the time of the incident.
