The long-awaited debut of dog world is finally here. The newly formed supergroup has been generating never-before-seen levels of hype in certain music circles. Little is known about them beyond their name and that they have been crafting “cosmic jazzy tunes” in a suburban shed. Those lucky punters who scored tickets to their show at Gang Gang on Saturday are morally obliged to fill the rest of us in.
Homegrown Sounds continues their delightful gig series this week, with the fourth instalment of Sounds From The Suburbs. Helena Pop, Ian Smelting and Buddy Dingo are part of the all-local lineup set to perform under the fairy lights at Gang Gang Cafe this Sunday.
Sydney indie punks Good Pash are back in town this week celebrating the release of their latest single, ‘How We’ll End Up’. They’ll be joined by Cathy Diver and Lily Morris at Smith’s Alternative on Saturday night.
