Katrina Maree, bass player in Canberra outfit The Black Souls, is embarking on a solo project with her debut EP release party set to take place at The Polo in Turner this Friday, 2 April. Later in the week, on Saturday, 3 April, LaHi will be joined by Ambient Book Club, Chins and Monkey Knife Fight for their EP launch at The Basement in Belconnen.

TUNDRA magazine is celebrating the Easter weekend with another night of live music this Sunday, 4 April. Wollongong’s Space Boys will be joined at sideway by locals The Narcissists and Enfants. Also at sideway, Evan Buckley (of The Burley Griffin fame), Bobby James and Georgia Bennett fill out the all-local line-up taking to the stage for the weekly Band Night on Thursday, 1 April.

The Canberra Symphony Orchestra returns to the city’s premiere concert hall this week. Their 2021 Llewellyn Series kicks off with two performances at Llewellyn Hall, one on Wednesday, 31 March, and the other on Thursday, 1 April. The centrepiece of the program is Kurt Weill’s The Seven Deadly Sins, with works form Holly Harrison and Stravinsky also included.
