What does a grown women rolling down the grassy slopes of Parliament House look like?

Indeed. And it cracks your kids up too to see their parents having a bit of fun.
We used to head up to Parliament house in the lead up to exams have a late night picnic dinner on the grass up top and then roll down, with a belly full of BBQ chook and beer. The security guards were good sports about it too. They’d walk down beside us and call out ‘path’ every now and then when we had rolled down to one of the narrow paths that cross the grass. We’d just raise our heads and keep rolling. Of course that was in the pre-howard days when things were more relaxed.
Back in the archives we’ve got story somewhere and somewhen from when the barriers were first errected and JB lamenting the loss of the ability to roll down the lovely grassy slopes. Will see if I can drag it up.
Friska I can’t see anything either. I’m nto sure what it looks like, but I know what it feels like! And it’s fun!
I cant see anything 🙁 BUT I have also rolled down the Parliament House hill too, the grass is so soft and it looks so tempting..
