Does anyone know why the roulettes are flying around the city today (about 1-45 to 2.00ish)?
I couldn’t see anything in the canberra times, so maybe it’s just for fun.
Any ideas?

Roulettes were here for the ADFA open day on Saturday as previously mentioned. They overnighted at Fairburn and went to Temora on the Sunday morning to do a performance. There were also 2 C130 Hercs here for a flypast and the Red Berets were here too.
Defence put a media release out on the Wednesday requesting that media inform Canberra residents about the planned aircraft activity but it appears this may have slipped through the cracks.
My point was simply that they probably used Fairburn (sic) as their base. Perhaps they combined the two events. Just remembered seeing the Temora event advertsied is all.
If so, how come the roulettes were here? Temora might have good clear skies that mean the locals are disturbed by the screams of skydivers, but somehow I don’t think we’d be able to see their airshow from here.
