Boss

Dog of the Week: Boss

This should be the Dog of the Year because next week marks one year since Boss joined our care. These anniversaries often raise eyebrows, but they make the staff and volunteers at RSPCA ACT quite sad.

Boss arrived as a shy boy with a fractured leg. But from receiving excellent care and now being walked and socialised every single day, he’s just marvellous – a real favourite of ours.

Still only two and a half years young, he walks well on a lead, likes people and toys, loves going for a swim and will make a wonderful pet. But as he’s basically lived half of his life at our shelter, he’ll take some time to settle into your home.

Come and visit Boss, a handsome boy who desperately deserves a family of his own.

Ellie

Cat of the Week: Ellie

Last week’s Cat of the Week, Olive, the 14-year-old cat, was adopted, and now it’s surely time for Ellie, the 11-year-old girl, to receive the same outcome.

Like many older cats, Ellie is comfortable around people and will come in for cuddles and snuggles whenever she chooses. She’ll follow you around and wants to be where you are, in your company.

Her purr will resonate through your home, where she’d prefer to be the only cat.

Both Ellie and Boss are here waiting for a chance to live the life they’re supposed to. Perhaps it’s you they’re waiting for? Drop by the shelter and meet them today.

Pawnote: Our long line of available puppies continues with some ready for adoption in mid-June, and newborns arriving every week.

Visit RSPCA ACT today at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life. You won’t regret it!
