Looking to add some personality to your home? Whether you’re after a clever companion to keep up with your daily adventures or a friendly, snoozy cat to keep you company, these two might be the answer.
Dog of the Week: Wilma
Wilma and her little siblings Fred and Betty are tiny turbos, fun-loving puppies likely to grow up as larger, active lifestyle dogs. We’ve already started on making them great pets.
Wilma and co are working-line pups. They’re a mix of Rottweiler and German Shepherd (among other similar types). They have beautiful markings and striking good looks.
Our kennels team likes to dream of the perfect owner and we think Wilma getting around town with a tradie would be ideal. We picture her cruising around in the passenger seat, hanging out on the job site and being made the dog in charge. Wilma will be very loyal, friendly, and keep an eye on your Makita and tools while you’re on the job.
Drop by our shelter to meet Fred, Betty and our pup of the week, Wilma.

Cat of the Week: Ariel
This girl is a lounge lizard. Even when trying to get a photograph of her, she wouldn’t move. She just lay there while we entered her condo, completely relaxed and unfazed by the presence of new people.
You can tell five-year-old Ariel comes from a life and home where she was loved, had very low stress and was allowed to nap whenever she liked.
She’s quite affectionate too, she’ll take all the belly rubs you can offer and hang out in the loungeroom with you all day long.
Ariel wants you all to herself though. She’s not too keen on other kitties, but she’ll be more than enough cat to love, don’t worry.
Pawnote: Another fresh wave of adoptable puppies is just around the corner. In the coming weeks we’ll have about 25 or more healthy, desexed pups looking for new homes. Keep an eye out on our social media and website.
