Looking for love, loyalty and a little extra patience? Meet this week’s special pets Winter and Jock.

Cat of the Week: Winter

Soft as snowfall and just as gentle, Winter is a quiet soul with a heart full of love. She’s just a little shy about showing it at first. This cautious girl is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. But when she feels brave, Winter gifts her favourite people with the sweetest little headbutts, her special way of saying “I trust you.”

She’s showing more and more each day that she has the potential to become the most affectionate, tender companion. What Winter needs now is a calm, patient home where she can continue to grow at her own pace. She may not be the boldest cat in the room, but with time and love, she’ll warm your heart like a cozy blanket on a winter’s night.

Dog of the Week: Jock

Meet Jock, our distinguished gentleman in search of a loving retirement home. Jock may be a little hard of hearing, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying life, especially his regular strolls and a good cuddle with his people.

He’s got a big heart full of love and isn’t afraid to let out a happy bark now and then to share his joy. Jock is the definition of a loyal companion, devoted, affectionate and ready to be your best friend.

As a twilight adoption, Jock comes with a special adoption fee of just $99. If you’re looking for a best friend who’ll stick by your side through thick and thin, Jock might just be your perfect match.

Pawnotes: Last week’s Dog and Cats of the Week Pem, Olly and Lily are still looking for their furever homes.

Visit RSPCA ACT today at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life. You won’t regret it!
