Except that section 24(2) of the Road Transport (Driver Licensing) Regulation 2000 says that a vehicle owned or operated by a driving instructor is exempt from the requirement to only display L plates when a Learner Driver is in the vehicle.
Still crappy parking though!

I hope you pay more attention to driving than you do to posts on RA.
The point of this post which has obviously escaped you is that the instructor (not the student) parked like this. They are an instructor, not an L plater, that is why there is a big magnet on the door advertising their business.
